Once textured hair starts to dry on its own, without product, it starts to frizz. Textured hair is usually coarse and dry by nature. This means that it dries fast. It clearly has a mind of own and trust me when I tell you that it will wreak havoc over your life with a really bad hair day if left to it’s own fun and games!
My secret tip when I am styling my Adored Signature Handtied Hair extensions is that I work in small sections while creating and directing my curls as to how they will be. When I work with small sections it is easy to either mist with a spray bottle or turn on the faucet and get your hand wet and apply water to the hair.
Make sure the section is extremely wet when applying the product. This allows for proper product saturation throughout the section. Nothing will be left up to it’s own thoughts of how it should be styled. You will be more likely to achieve your desired end result.
If you apply product to textured hair that is dry and frizzy you will end up with a frizzy look. It will not change a thing except that you got a style you did not want.
